HongKong PART 2 (DISNEYLAND)

This is my Hong Kong Trip PART 2.. for those of you who want to see my PART 1 HK Trip just click there ^^

Btw did you know that Hong Kong Is world's most expensive place to buy Home / Property because of a shortage of properties on the market.. I red that in some website.. So don't be surprise that if during your stay in HK, spaces are relatively small, so if you're NOT staying at four or five star hotels, the space of your hotel room will be hmmmm yeah well you know lah... NOT on a standard size like in any other country you know.. 

Back to my vacation, so me & hubby... in order to embrace our adventurous soul hahaha... we decided to try four different hotel..  from a hostel (Lucky Hostel in Chunking Mansion - Nathan Road), a three star hotel (Bridal tea House in around Hong Hum area), until four star hotels (Beverly Plaza Hotel in Macau & also Regal iClub Hotel in HK Island area)..... Don't mind the five star hotel lah.. its too expensive... hahaha we don't need my blog to know the five star will be AWESOME anyway....

I will talk about all the hotel one by one later... but now my blog post is reach to my second day in HK, we staying at "Bridal tea House", a three star hotel... the bed are SO small for both of us, they said its double bed but we cant even sleep well, hard to turn left or right in that small size bed.. the bathroom also small, and the ceiling so low.. never see any hotel in my life with ceilings that low.. Pipes coming out from the ceiling, kinda remind me of a basement parking lot hahaha... the light also kinda dim.. but the price is ok compare to other hotel in HK so i think we got what we paid for...

The fun part on the way to Disneyland was this... we got off from the regular HK MTR and could got on to....  "Disneyland Resort Line MTR".. its a specially designed train with "purple-white" colour... It has Mickey Mouse window, theres Mickie statue everywhere and lovely soft couches (wait soft? actually i dont know if they soft or not coz i had to stand.. too crowded sial T_T).......

After the Whale pond, we reached the ticket booth.. For those of you who want to know how much the ticket cost, i will put the price list below ^^

we chose the 1 day ticket only so it cost us 339HK$ per person  (or around IDR 440.000 per person)

Im inside now... hahahaha...

First when you go inside theres LOTS OF merchandise shop, and a few other like diamond shop, bakery shop, etc... all in very CUTE building design....

 So strange when we were in Disneyland, the temprature only reach 18 degrees so it was not that COLD which is fantastic.. look we even took our jacket off..

 Going to watch "Mickey Philhar Magic" in 4D... 

what is 4D? So for those of you who dont know what 4D Movie is? Let me describe it from the 2D first... in 2D its just a regular movie with moving picture, flat and no depths like we watching TV news at home... in 3D theres depths and sometimes the pictures like jumping 'pop' out of the camera and most of which require 3D glasses to be able to watch it..

now what about 4D? its like 3D BUT theres additional to it.. when the character flying with flying carpet, NOT only they POP out of the screen like in 3D, but also WE COULD FEEL THE WIND like we are flying with them... when the character smell an apple pie we could also smell the apple pie on our nose... AMAZING.... when they whisper from the left side of the screen, we could also hear a whisper from the left side of the studio... WOW... i LOVE it... So dont forget to go watch it when you are in Disneyland ^^

OK DID U SEE THAT? That called the "RC Racer" attraction and its FREAKING AWESOME.. MUST TRY!!!!! CRAZYYY FUNNN.. wish i could be in it longer.. just a few swing and done.. i was like "WHAT? Finish already?"

He drew this cute charater "Hamm The Piggy Bank - Toy story" with coffe & broom.. WTF ^^ Cute!

We also watched "Flights of Fantasy" parade that held at 4 PM (if im not mistaken =p)....

OK so in summary if you visit Disneyland Hongkong, heres some attraction that I THINK suits & great for adults:

* Space Mountain

* Jungle River Cruise

* Mickey Philhar Magic (THIS ONE IS A MUST)

* RC Racer (THIS ONE ALSO A MUST)

* Toy Soldier Parachute Drop

and.... if you bring kids.. well i think they will LOVE all the attraction there ^^ Dont bring them to RC Racer if they are under 120cm tall though ^^ 

PS: Dont bring any food because they will check your belongings before you enter the park... Theres lots of "drinking foundation" in there so you dont need to worry about water ^^

HongKong PART 1 (Just arrived) ......

Last week, January 18th, i went to Hong Kong with my Hubby... well it was some kinda like honeymoon for us since for the last 6 months of our marriage we never really2 went to have a long holiday for just the two of us hahaha...  SO I WAS EXCITED & SO DAMN HAPPY... so excited I could even vomit rainbow.....

Short story, after 4,5 hours long flight from Jakarta (YEAH i count 4,5 hours as a LONG flight because i HATE flying sigh..), we finaly arrived in Hong Kong....

We check in at our hotel.. and decided to called our friends, a couple, who.. (imagine this..) ALSO at the same time having a honeymoon in Hong Kong.. hahahaha.. so we called them and decided to meet up to had a dinner..

Yayyyy... our first meal in Hong Kong...

OK our dinner turns out not so good.. and the waitress is so rude T_T siallll.... But we don't care lah... we are so excited to be here we don't even think about that and just eat...

After Dinner, the four of us went to Two Famous Night Market in HK, "The Ladies Market" and "Temple Street Night Market".. i love Ladies Market better though.. its bigger & has a lot more store...

Btw to reach "Ladies Market" we had to take MTR.... Hong Kong is all about MTR (subway train).. Almost all people take MTR to reach everywhere.. Its fast, clean, cheap & NOT confusing at all, even me who always get lost EVERYWHERE could easily found my route.. HOW COOL is that?

TIPS: Just remember to buy "Octopus card" in the airport once you touchdown Hong Kong because it will save you much time, you don't have to pay ticket every time you take any transportation (bus, tram, MTR, etc).. you just need to deposit your money in the card and every time you wanna get on the MTR or bus you just have to swipe the card... and it will automatically deducted the balance you have...

 Thats me inside the MTR station, in front of the ticket machine, and i was reaching my Octopus..

Lets go.. here we come "Ladies Market"...

As you can see i already wearing my flat boots, NO HEELS

My feet's were so sore wearing wedges all day so i decided to take any first flat boots i see..  Don't care the model lah, as long as it flat & keep my feet warm, already so sore i don't even care that the calf area too big.. Yes its too big for my calves!? and i don't even bring any other flat shoes with me.. so i have to stick with this boots the entire trip! I thought that i would bought another pair in HK if i found other boots suits me, BUT later i thought too much spending money on flat boots was NOT GOOD, i wont even use it when i get back to Indonesia zzzzzz...OK gonna stick with this boots for a week then T_T

So me & my "Big Calf Boots" is walking outside the market and found this very Cute Boutique, their stuff is so gorgeous.. BUT of course outside the market means the price is expensive hahaha....

Walking around makes us hungry.. in HK theres lots and lots of snacks.. everywhere you go you will found little stores selling meatballs or cakes or dimsums (YES dimsum is snacks for me mwahahaha), etc... So we decided to try one of them..

 This is the famous HK's snacks.. meatballs & sausages.. its good but my fave is.....

this "Taiwan Pearl Milk Tea"... with Bubble.... Oh my.. writing these makes me want it so bad T_T

Finally this blog post will not be complete without me putting the photo of this great couple, my lovely friends, Eka & Vino.... ^^

HAPPY HONEYMOON you guys hahahaha......

They are so sweet together... they always so romantic... like these photo below.. they are teasing each other & laughing on the way to the night market... aren't they so sweet ^^

OK that's it for the first day in HK.. I'm gonna continue it on my next blog post.. Yay!
